Sorry I’ve been so negligent
The last month has really been crazy. Here’s just a short list of what has been happening in my life:
- Josh, my oldest son, proposed to his girlfriend. He did it like no one I know. We had a surprise party for them at the end of the evening. To see photos of the party go to this link: Proposal Party.
- We went to Jefferson City, MO for Thanksgiving. That’s where Sara my wife is from. We had a great time with all the family. I got to install a new LCD TV for my in-laws!
- I’ve been feeling like God was doing something in my life lately. Over the past 6 months He has been leading me to redefine the Education Staff organization. I finally was able to sit down and put it on paper. It’s now been through all the approval process and today I presented it to the Ed Staff. I’ll share more about the new org structure in a later post.
- Sara and Chris went to New York City with his DECA group. There was a total of 58 students and parents on the trip. They had a great time and I realized just how much I love being around my family!
- We’re getting ready for our Christmas Program this week at church. It runs Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
- Lee Strobel is coming to speak at church this weekend: Saturday night, Sunday morning, and Sunday evening.
I’ll try and do a better job posting to my blog in the coming days.
Here’s a few things I’m planning to write about:
- How we rolled out the “Big News” of Integris Hospital purchasing 24.5 acres
- The big year facing the Wilson’s
- The new Ed Staff org structure
- We conducted an all church survey in November to evaluate how well we are accomplishing our 4 priorities: Connect, Grow, Serve, Engage
- The conference we’re hosting in April. See if you can guess the name of the conference: _I_I_ _R_T_ _C

Isn’t that conference in April _I_I__R_TEC_? similar, but different

Tony, thanks for the catch. I posted this way too late last night.

Is it MINISTRYTECH conference? Looks like there are two spaces between the I and the R. That is my guess!

WOW looks like I could not even spell my first name! My fingers work faster than my brain a lot of the time. Too much multi tasking going on.

My fingers were not working too well the first time I typed the fill-in-the-blank quiz. Tony quickly pointed that out to me.
