WOW! You’ve got to be kidding!

Yesterday something happened that really caught me off guard.  I’m sitting in my office working to finish out the week and I get an e-Newsletter from MinistryCom.  I usually stop whatever I’m doing when this e-Newsletter arrives and read all the great info related to communication from some of the best in the business.

I scaned the articles and noticed some from a few of my friends:

• Cory Miller - ChurchCommunicationPro
• Chris Forbes - MinistryMarketingCoach
• Kevin Hendricks - ChurchMarketing Sucks (not really a friend, but I did meet him at MinistryCom in Phoenix, AZ)
• and then I see my name!  What the crap!  How did that get there?

I met Terrell Sanders at MinistryCom in Phoenix.  We spoke a couple of times while we were there.  We’ve exchanged a couple of emails and tried to get together for lunch so I can pick his brain.  So…I was TOTALLY shocked that he even knew I was blogging and even more that something I wrote was “MinistryCom” worthy since we had never really spent any time together.

Terrell, needless to say, thanks for the plug and we have GOT to get together for lunch.  By the way, it’s on me!
