Marketing a New Campus

Henderson Hills is beginning a new campus this coming Sunday, Sept. 9, 2007. We have been planning this new campus for over 9 months. We have a marketing plan for the campus, but wondered what everyone else would do if their church was beginning a new campus.

So…here’s the question, “If you were beginning a new campus on September 9, 2007, what would have been your marketing plan?” Here’s the type of info I’d like to see:

  • When would you begin your marketing campaign?
  • When would you conclude your marketing campaign?
  • What different media would you use: TV, newspaper, mail-out, Internet, etc.?
  • What would your ‘realistic’ budget be for your campaign? 

Here’s some data for the discussion:

  • The new campus is in Stillwater, OK. It’s home to Oklahoma State University the 2nd largest university in Oklahoma
  • The campus is located at an elementary school
  • The campus is 45 minutes away from our 1st campus
  • We have many college students attending OSU
  • We have a core group of 5 couples from Stillwater helping us begin the new campus

What would be your plan? Just curious…
