C3 Conference (T.D. Jakes)

by: Jeff Wilson March 7, 2008

T.D. Jakes closed out the C3 Conference. It was a GREAT decision to have T.D. finish. He brought the house down! T.D. is the Senior Pastor of the The Potter’s House, Dallas, TX. Here are my take-aways from his talk:

You haven’t begun to preach until you become controversial.
The cost of leadership is conflict.
People generally admire their leaders [...]

C3 Conference (Brian Houston)

by: Jeff Wilson March 4, 2008

Brian Houston is the Senior Pastor of Hillsong Church, Sydney, Australia. Here are some of my take-aways from his talk:

Churches should be empowering [...]

by: Jeff Wilson March 3, 2008

C3 Conference (Mac Richard)

by: Jeff Wilson March 1, 2008

Here are my take-aways from Mac Richard, the founding pastor of Lake Hills Church, Austin, TX:

There is a tension between having community and responsibility in a relationship.
There is a tension between love and accountability in a relationship.
Accountability is grown out of love. We can’t institutionalize accountability. (I know that’s right!)
All good leadership radiates from love [...]

by: Jeff Wilson February 26, 2008

I was at the C3 Conference at Fellowship Church in Grapevine, TX with the Ed Staff at Henderson Hills. It was great spending time with my staff. I’m truly blessed to get to serve and do life together with these people.
Here are some of my key ’Take-Aways’ from the C3 Conference:

“Be” the Church

by: Jeff Wilson January 12, 2008

I’ve been working with the Spiritual Growth Team over the last 2 months to define what our goals should be for the next 5 years. This has been fun and also a difficult process. Especially when you think about all the age groups represented: Birth - Sr. Adult.
One thing that all of us, in one [...]

Sorry I’ve been so negligent

by: Jeff Wilson December 5, 2007

The last month has really been crazy. Here’s just a short list of what has been happening in my life:

Josh, my oldest son, proposed to his girlfriend. He did it like no one I know. We had a surprise party for them at the end of the evening. To see photos of the party go [...]

I took this photo while in South Bend, IN. When I took it, thoughts of the church came to mind. How does this photo affect you?
