Where to find great eDeals.

I love finding bargains!  Finding deals that save me money makes me very happy.  Another thing that makes me happy is saving other people money by pointing them to great deals.
One of my favorite places to find great deals is the web site eDealinfo.com.
I’ve found:

Computers, software, hardware, memory, LCD displays
Digital camera’s, digital memory, printers
Toys, games, [...]

Letting Go

My mom had a hard time with this when I left for college.  My old girlfriends had a hard time when I broke up with them (at least that’s the way I remember it).  My first pastor had difficulty when I told him I was leaving to go to another church.  I had a hard [...]

How to know if you’re really friends.

We’ve know Laura and David Scalf for over 11 years now.  We first met them in Mustang, OK.  They were members of First Baptist where I served as the Pastor of Education.
We quickly became good friends in the 4 years we lived in Mustang.  We lived a block away from each other for 3 years.
Laura [...]

I’m So Confused!

Sometimes I wonder if people think that we in the church do almost anything we can to create confusion.  Here’s just one example of what I mean.  We are all guilty of using acronyms or cute words for events, programs, or ministries.  Although we think they’re cool, those that don’t know the “church lingo” feel [...]

One Church, Multiple Locations

This past week we, Henderson Hills, announced that God is leading us to establish a campus in Stillwater, OK.  This was a decision that had been prayed about and investigated for over a year.  This will be Henderson Hills first off site campus.
It is not our first Multi-Site experience.  Before we moved to our new campus [...]

“I’m Leaving” - steps to take when leaving a church

I’ve mentioned before that I’ve served on 5 different church staffs over the past 25 years.  That means I’ve said “I’m Leaving” four times.  Saying those words is never easy, at least it shouldn’t be, but it may be easier depending on your situation.  (Some staff members will know what I mean)
Here are some steps [...]

Yellow Pages?

After going through my first round of negotiations with the multiple Yellow Page companies I have a few thoughts:

I don’t think we should totally abandon yellow page ads, but I’m not convinced that we need to spend the amount of dollars that we have spent in the past.
I have been totally amazed at the cost of [...]

Crazy Oklahoma Weather

I’m from Oklahoma.  That may make some of you immediately unsubscribe from this blog.  One thing about living in Oklahoma is that our weather is totally crazy.
Last week we went from 80 degrees to almost freezing in one day.   Last year we had almost no rain.  Two weeks ago we had over 4 inches at [...]

What I’ve been doing…

The last couple of weeks have been pretty crazy.  Here’s a quick take on what’s been going on in the life of Jeff Wilson:

Took off week before last with plans to work in the yard.  It rained almost 5 inches!  Oh well.  I did get my yard mowed.  Or maybe it’s better to describe it as trenched.  [...]

Stick it to the Man!

I love great deals.  Just ask anyone who knows me.  When I find one it gives me great joy to share it with others.  I especially enjoy sharing when it has to do with someone overcharging for their services.  Like calling information for a number on your cell or land line.  Why in the world [...]
